Essential match day information.

Brig take on Preston North End FC in the traditional pre-season opener, The Gerry Lawson Memorial Trophy at 3pm on Saturday 6 July.

MATCH DAY INFO:

Admission:

  • Gates open at 12:30 pm.
  • Admission is pay on the gate.
  • Turnstiles are cash only.
  • Adults £10/Concessions £5
  • Under 16's are free with a paying adult (up to 3 children per adult)
The correct change would be greatly appreciated by our turnstile volunteers.

Bars and Refreshments:
Three bars will be available.

  • Our main clubhouse bar will be open offering a selection of lagers, real ales, cider, wines, spirits, soft drinks and over 20 gins. (Card payments taken)
  • Two additional bars will be outside to the right of the clubhouse and behind the main stand offering lager, smooth, cider and kids' soft drinks. (Cash only)
  • Food will be available from May's Place refreshment bar, including the famous butter pies and the best mushy peas in non-league football! Tucker Box will also be providing refreshments from their van next to the main stand.

Travel:

  • For those travelling by car, please note there is NO supporter parking available at the ground. On street parking is available in the local area but please consider our neighbours and park legally and considerately!
  • Public transport - the nearest train station is Bamber Bridge (approx 10-15 mins walk). Buses are available to both Bamber Bridge and Brownedge Rd (Lostock Hall).
  • Please be aware that Lostock Hall Carnival also takes place on Saturday and local diversions may be in place around the Brownedge Road area.

Safety and Security:
To ensure the safety of all our guests:

  • Spectators are not permitted to bring alcohol in to the ground. Only drinks purchased in the ground can be consumed on the premises.
  • Fireworks and other pyrotechnics, including smoke bombs and flares are not permitted in the ground.
  • Bag searches may be performed by security staff or club officials.

Local information:

  • The nearest cashpoint is located at Spar on Station Rd. (Useful as admission and two of the bars are cash only).
  • Fancy a pint en-route to the match? We can recommend The Beer Box and The Brig and Barrel micro pubs, both located on Station Road, approx 10 mins walk from the ground.
