Bamber Bridge FC were incredibly saddened to hear to of the passing of Edward Gregory, who has lost his battle with a brain tumour at just 17 years of age.

Eddie was a keen Bolton Wanders fan, but combined this with following Brig and he was a familiar face at Irongate. He was also well known locally as a coach for Lostock Hall Juniors.

Before Saturday's game against Farsley Celtic there will be a minutes applause to celebrate Eddie's life.

Eddie's friends will also be releasing black, white and blue balloons in his memory.

Everyone connected with Bamber Bridge FC would like to extend their condolences to Eddie's family and friends.
