Supporters urged to support local food banks as this year's Christmas Charity

For this year's charity collection we are supporting Left In Preston's Food bank appeal, which is an appeal for donations to stock Preston's food banks over the festive period.

From 23 November until the traditional Christmas "Jumper Day" match (Lancaster City, 15 December), the club is acting as an official drop off point for donations for the appeal and supporters can drop off donations in the clubhouse during normal opening hours.

The food banks are after things in a tin or packet and it must be long dated – please note that long dated food is a necessity as this is for over the Christmas period.

We would also like to ask for Christmas crackers and Children’s Advent calendars if that is at all possible.

All donations will be very gratefully received.
