Biography
Neil was appointed to the role of Director of Football in 2017, having previously spent 5 years as 1st team manager and a further five as assistant manager.
Following a break from the touchline, Neil returned to front-line management in October 2018 when he accepted the role of assistant manager to Mick Taylor. A role he combines with that of Director of Football.
He started out in the North West Counties League in the 1980‘s, first with Darwen, and then with Squires Gate. Joined Bamber Bridge in the 1994-95 season before moving on to Lostock St Gerards. He spent four seasons with Fulwood Amateurs in the West Lancashire League before injury cut short his playing career. Came back to Irongate at the start of the 2004-05 campaign joining the Lancashire League management team.
